 Sight-Unseen Drama Conference

Together with Goldsmiths University Asia Centre and Tara Arts, this pioneering event was held at the end of April 2018 and it saw the coming together of writers from Southeast Asia with British East Asian theatre practitioners with the aim of fostering greater mutual understanding and cross-cultural exchange.​ The collection British East Asian Plays was also launched successfully. The conference involved discussion, workshops and performance. It has also provided opportunities for learning, new research and scholarship in an under-researched field. Other parties who collaborated include: East 15 Theatre Conservatoire,  Royal Holloway, University of London and Regent's University.  You can read about the conference here.

In 2019, Aurora Metro collaborated with the Indonesian Dramatic Readings Festival in Yogyakarta to present the first ever

Festival of Indonesian Plays at Oval House Theatre in London. You can watch a few minutes of the festival opposite A book launch to celebrate the first publication of  new Indonesian plays in English was held on October 15th 2019 at the Royal Court Theatre, London.
